  • The Lite version only allows one sound track. You would need to combine your sound files into one sound file or upgrade to the Studio version.

  • Double click on a blank square in the foreground of the xsheet (not in the background) and then draw in the image window to create a new image in the position on the xsheet.

  • i'm trying to animate using pictures i scanned onto the computer. i have a bg image but the animated characters are superimposed into the background, meaning the background is showing through the characters. how do i stop this??

  • @MicahBuzan If the animated characters are part of the background image then there's nothing you can do about it. They need to be imported separately into the foreground. If they've already been colored they should be 32-bit image files (with an alpha channel) and they should be imported as overlays. If they haven't been painted yet they should be imported as line drawings and then you paint them in FlipBook and be sure to use colors that are opaque so you don't see through them.

  • I just downloaded Digicel and I'm loving it so far but I'm not sure how to move images around. and if you showed it in this video I'm sorry D8 but my internet won't let me watch videos today just get on youtube ;u;

  • @emololishota

    The explanation on how to move images around is not in the Drawing tutorial. It's in the Simple Pan tutorial. Hopefully your internet connection will improve soon and then you can watch that video.

  • (cont) like when I saw a beauty and the beast clip "behind the scenes" clip the cleanup animators made their lines really clean. So, is it only done with practice?(that is if you use the pencil tool)

  • Thanks for the answer about the soundtrack issue. I have one other question. I've also read that once you're done with the rough animations then you can go on a new layer and do the cleanup animations? Which is something you can do in Studio and not on the lite version, right? Because lite has 1 normal animation layer?

    So, once you have to start the cleanup, do you normally do it with the pencil tool or not? because when i see videos of professional cleanups, they tend to look very clean(cont)

  • I currently have the lite version. So I've tried to import two sounds on the soundtrack. The first one started one frame 1 and ended on frame 22. Then I took the second sound and told Digicel to start the sound on frame 24. The second sound started on frame 24, but for some reason the first sound has disappeared. Is there a way to get around this or do you have to edit all the sounds together or.... something?

  • I downloaded the trial, and Im already stuck. When I double click the cell to add the drawing as a frame, nothing happens.

  • @MicahBuzan Once you paint the characters then you won't be able to see through them. You can use AutoFill to paint them all at once with just one color. Check the Help file for details on using AutoFill.

  • @kentbraun hey thanks for the quick reply and helpful info.

    my animation I'm doing is in black and white, does that because the backgrounds are black and white and my characters have no color, any white parts of my characters will appear transparent over the background image?
