  • DOn't pull the roots out if you can help it, need to leave them for regrowth, otherwise your condemning yourself after a few years.. that is to say if your staying in one area for an extended time.. otherwise it's curtesy for the plants.

  • @lDeadBirdl We cut it at the bottom,The root's don't work with this shelter.

  • @mogges1 yes it will if one ads more Johnson grass when making this keeping the Johnson grass closer and tier for no small holes.

  • Cool little shelter !!!, Here is another old book i think that you would like... "shelters,shacks,and shanties" , also by Daniel Beard, it was originally written in 1914. (again... i think there may be free versions of it online ).
