In 2006 British troops entered Helmand province to protect civillian reconstruction teams with the British defence secretary famously saying we'd be happy to leave without a single shot fired. The taliban had other ideas and started attacking the small British outposts, we've reinforced and now there are 200 new schools and health clinics in the province, the hydroelectric has been renovated and irrigation systems updated... You know fuck all.

@rangliansoldier If you want to save people go to build irrigation canals, building schools and providing them with the knowledge to be able to develop in Africa. If you plan to save people by shooting them, know that you are doing it the wrong way.

@rangliansoldier All that area is full of oil and mineral resources, but if there are no political factions want in that area is difficult to colonize the surrounding areas. The world is not RISIKO. The truth is that America is the number one problem for the security of the planet, is the fact that over look the war. Also if you shoot over your troops is understandable given that they have invaded. What should they do? Hug you? Go to war on purpose and then weep the dead. What a stupid thing.
