Way cool.
I've been toying with the idea of adapting Tomine for the screen as well, decided to randomly search him on YouTube, and found your short. Well done man, definitely stays true to Tomine's style.

THE CAR CRASH! THE CAR CRASH!!! Hahahaha, that was funny. No, I liked your film a lot! It was really good, the flashback, the narration, it was all really good. The only thing I'm still confused about is the ending? What happens? It just sorta ends and I'm left wanting more, with more questions than when I began. Exactly what happened 5 months ago? What's Cary's problem, why does she not want to go back? Is he hoping to get back?

I encoded it in MPEG-4. It's an internet-ready format. I used the program Compressor to encode it. Compressor comes as part of the Final Cut Studio package for the Mac. The setting I used was "MPEG-4 Improved NTSC Large Progressive." The file extension is .mp4.
