EPIC

I wouldn't trust the computer to land the plane if it made a mistake like that

@blakman7 sort of. Wasn't totally normal. Without the autoland the pilots could not have gotten as far as they did. When they passed decision height, 200ft AGL, they still didn't have the runway. Only with autoland engaged can a plane pass that without seeing the runway. The auto pilot even did the auto-flare, just not the roll-out. You're not going to get flare without autoland on. I'd call it an autoland for sure.

That actually wasn't an auto land. The pilot disconnected the autopilot just before touchdown meaning that the autopilot didn't land the airplane. Just a normal CAT III approach.

TEN!

There's a Troll in the GPWS !

hahaha what a funny thing!! I first thought it's just another poor visibility landing posted on YouTube and was short before of stop watching it till the end, then didn't realize the GPWS stopped callouts at 20 ft short of landing so I had to watch it twice afterwards. Funniest moment when they vacate the RWY and began laughing ^^

an Airbus watched the video, realised it didn't have a sense of humour and disliked.

fuck me.

@alaskagirl1978 The Callouts are Rad alt based, nothing to do with the height above sea level or what they have set on their Altimeters. Most modern EICAS boeings tell you when you've forgot to set the altimeter setting as you program the transition level, and they also tell you if the 2 pilots have set different settings.
GPWS watched this video and disliked it.
