  • What about all the families that this amendment will destroy?

Many of them are heterosexual and even Christian.

What these people aren't telling you is that Children will not be visited related by their non-blood related parents in the hospital and commonlaw marriages will be banned too.

These "family values" people are the most ANTI-FAMILY people we've ever dealt with... they just won't quit until all of our rights have been taken away.

  • This guy is probably some closet case. Bumping feet in the airport.

  • my questions is how can sexuality be genetic? And if it is, how can a homosexual get a gene from two heterosexuals? Psychologically, I can see how the characterization of a person can be changed through childhood that would lead them to homosexuality, but through that lifestyle, life cannot spring forth, and if life cannot spring forth and death will nonetheless ensue, then how does the homosexual gene reproduce?

  • actually there IS tons of evidence to back that homosexuality is not a choice being the result of various psychological, environmental, and biological factors there isn't a single cause of homosexuality just like there isn't a single cause for alcoholism

  • Well i acutlaly agree with iprazhm i think homosexually maybe a choice because there are some folks i know who claim to be homosexuals but have been with both sex and go back and forth and change their minds...I do believe a person makes a choice in who they get involve with...But i don't believe in having a ban on same sex marriage..

  • No there isn't. We all know that if such 'proof' existed, gay activists would spend billions announcing it to the world and then for lobbying to pass every wacko law they ever dreamed up. Unethical scientists have, many times, falsified research to suggest homosexuality is genetic. But to date, no credible evidence has surfaced, and never will.

  • sorry you didn't understand. i was being sarcastic. there is proof that homosexuality is not a choice...

  • Truth is not relative. It is absolute. You cannot make the truth into a falsehood simply by viewing it in a different light. Homosexuality is defined by sex. It is not genetic or inherent, but a choice. Thousands who thought they couldn't change, have. They made a choice. Many folks become miserable in the gay lifestyle. It's like getting drunk, its a blast for a time, but torturous in the morning. The physical and emotional price is too high. Common sense is not so common to those who indulge.

  • iprazhm:Your words are so hate filled and hurtful to a group of people who have never done anything to you.I feel very sad for you, it must be terrible to live with such hate.I forgive you because I know you don't know any better.I hope that one day you realize how much pain you cause by spewing such venom. If one of your children or grandkids turns out to be gay, then maybe you'll realize the error of your ways, until then everyone who responds to you is just wasting their time, as am I.

  • Hey all, I sent an e-mail to iprazhm with links to research conducted by the American Psych Assoc and the American Pediatric Assoc. that support my claim that being gay is not a choice and that gay parents make just as good parents as hetero couples and kids from same sex household grow up normal. She says that these two organizations are "suspect and corrupt". iprazhm:Why haven't you given me your information that backs up what you say? I suspect there is no credible information that backs you.

  • Denial? I'm just voicing another view. But i guess any view that is not yours is denial right? Mind you that not everyone is god fearing nor do they have to be. Gay people go to those camps not because being gay makes them unhappy, its how society treats them. So many of them are rejected from their families, churches, communities, friends, and not to mention social functions such as marriage. Its a sad that people like you make them feel unnatural just because of what you deem "moral".

  • See, just as I said. Gay activists either bash the reverted homosexual, or they bash the program helping them, if there is one. Blah blah blah. Thousands upon thousands of happy newly reverted heterosexuals. Living normal lives. You can never change that, nor stop it from happening. God is good, all the time. Denial is not a river in Egypt. It's what you suffer from. You grasp at straws.
