The "5" is the first model that has a 14 mega pixel, then the "A" stands for what kind of lens that comes with it in a package. And that's the 16mm lens. If it says "5K", the 15-85mm lens comes with it. If it says "5D", both lenses comes with it.
The "5N" is the new model with 16 mega pixel.
