I love this type of vibrato, unbelievable beauty in this voice.

Superb.

Souzay's vibrato became slower (but still not as slow as a wobble) as his career progressed as one can hear on some of the records he made later --

Well, I don't get the 'video' at all, but Souzay's singing of this song is beyond praise. The quality that always moves me in his art is its humaneness. He sings like a man, not a virtuoso, telling the story of the song and revealing things in it we have never suspected. I especially like the tenderness and refusal to exaggerate in Nacht und Traüme: one of the great musical discoveries of wonder and loss.

So gorgeous.... the song and the performance.
-
t is the 'soul' in this performance that makes it so outstanding.
vibrato or not, I love it.

Einzigartig! Der französische Gérard Souzay war der größte deutsche Liedersänger.
-
Vibrato is part of the human voice - it is the wave pattern and I think very unique and if allowed to blend beautifully as is the case here, it amplifies the magnificence of the song and the very essence of the music as a whole...
There is a difference between a "wabble' and 'vibrato' - and that is important to know...

Absolutely gorgeous ---- it's the ultimate in great legato and mezza voce singing. He was one of a kind. This man's art will live forever among the real voice "gourmets". There was only one Gerard Souzay. His recitals were like something from another world.
O mon âme, Gerard Souzay, le plus beau des barytons

I completely agree. Souzay is a master of mezza voce and legato and creates the dreamy atmosphere to perfection.
