CPS: William B. Ogden School Chicago "Roof" Soiree

The last social event at William B. Ogden Chicago Public School was the 'Rooftop Soiree" in July 2009. There, invited adults partook in cheese, shrimp, and drinks, while socializing on the roof of the soon-to-be razed building. Teachers, staff, faculty, and alumni mingled until 6pm, when we all went to to gym to enjoy the buffet and to purchase selected keepsake souvenir items. One daring reveler climbed the chimney ladder!

The event was well attended, and any current students viewing will certainly wish they had been allowed to be there!

It's a last, too short, look at the interior/exterior of the 'old' William B. Ogden CPS... , now gone forever.

@LadyC4000 ms. hogan's still there :) a friend went to judge science fair there and ms. hogan kicked him out because he walked in through the wrong door. i'm going to be a senior in high school too, who is this? :)

wow cant believe the building is gone now. so many memories at that school. now im a senior in high school but i will always remember ogden. i wonder if mrs. hogan was there.
