Frankfurt, Höchst Buddhist Temple ~Wat Bodhi Dhamm~

At the MELCHIOR STRASSE number 9, in Frankfurt-Höchst, we find the small, but very beautiful Buddhist Temple WAT BODHI DHAMM. This temple was opened in Höchst about two years ago and was renewed a few months ago. The administration office is situated next to the temple. The temple is small but of great beauty, which also shows the warmth of the care of participants and monks, I did not know all the personal because I was there too early, just a couple of temple-workers talked to me and I could go inside the temple and meditate, diving in complete silence, very confortable silence that I really enjoyed and after few minutes I was completely relaxed and delighted by the warmth and comfort of the atmosphere.

Out of respect I did not photograph the interior of the temple, because it would disturb the peace of the environment.

The temple was decorated with colorful flowers and the scent of incense in the air made me feel as if I were in a place far away from all the rush and hurry of the city, which is located, to say well, not very far away.

In WAT BODHI DHAMM is offered Puja ---Buddhist ritual with chants of mantras and meditation--- daily in the evening, at SEVEN pm.
