Carte Blanche, M-Net, Ruda Landman, Derek Watts.

Ross Perot, George Bush, Bill Clinton, Larry King Live, Larry Zeiger, Brooklyn, New York, CNN, Mutual Radio, South Africans, Mike Wallace, 60 Minutes, Wichita, Kansas, heartland of America. Look what happens when people get close to him. Autographs, photographs, star power, nightly news is out, Larry King is in. Political year of 1992. Ross Perot happened. 15th caller said I admire you, he has a twinkle in his eye, Larry sees twinkle. If you're that serious, you the people, are that serious, you register me in fifty states. 1992-02-20 February 20th Perot tells viewers he's in the race. Spin-off business. Ross Perot's in Larry King's will, and vice-versa.

Unedited hour with witty, chummy interviewer. Vice President Dan Quayle discusses his daughter and abortion. "I'd support my daughter."

Bill Clinton, Al Gore, bus tour, George Bush White House, Ross Perot keeps coming back for more. Mike Wallace calls from New York, NY to ask Perot if the soft ball questions are the reason he comes to Larry. We get to talk to the American people.

"You're a patsy" - that's the rap on King. He will never ask the hard questions. I'm Larry of the corner. Why do you wanna drive the bus? Why do you put your hand in the box and take out one out of every three coins, Mr. Bus Driver?

Racists gnaw at Larry, he's gotten confrontive, but generally he wants to know "why?" No questions suggested. Executive producer Tammy Haddad has been with Larry for twelve years. She gives Larry cities. Larry don't need no floor manager. Tammy is the effective maniac in charge. Interviewing Al Gore. 46 hours a week with repeats, etc.

Grossly underpaid about 2-3 million dollars. "I make a lot of money." He hit rock bottom in Miami for four years. Earning $60,000 a year living like he earned $120,000. Indictment for Grand Larceny came along. Got off on a technicality, lost broadcasting jobs, bankruptcy claim to avoid over $300,000 in debt. And he missed his money.

Married several times. Bette Davis said camera's his mistress. He'd call CNN first before his wife if an urgent call came along. Family values is 6th, this is broadcasting. Journalists first and everything else is second. A jew comes to Wichita.

Before heart attack, Larry didn't exercise, but bypass surgery in 1987 made him more active. Works phones, writes column for USA Today, column on Dan Quayle, Murphy Brown employment opportunities.

"Hitler wouldn't have moved if we were on the air."
"I love what I'm doing."

Three hours on Mutual Radio. Larry King Show for Tuesday night, Wednesday morning. 9-10 on CNN, Mutual Radio till 2 am, fall asleep 2:45 AM. Why? Gonna think about it.. 58 years old.

1-2 in the morning, savvy, street-wise Democrat gets to tell you what he really thinks. Pat Buchanan. Blame the media if you don't have an answer - wonderful scapegoat. Only worries about dying. The universe has been around a long time, I'm here for a blip and I wanna see it all.

Texas billionaire Ross Perot joke. Port Uron.
