@NotSoOldHippy Well, my back is so torn up from playing football that if I sleep on the ground like I've done so many times before, I might not be able to get my boots on in the morning.

@enjoythewildUSA Ha! Pathetic. Imagine Edward Abbey sleeping on a cream puff matress.

@NotSoOldHippy I have to say, I like my indulgence. : ) I was in the Sierras about 4 years ago and an older buddy of my, a Vietnam vet, slept on slab of granite for 2 nights with no padding. I couldn't believe it. Meanwhile, I snoozed away on my Big Agnes.

Thanks for this review, I'm one of those that has a tough time sleeping with a regular foam mat. Plus, here in SW MT you can go from average summertime to nearly winter conditions @ 10K feet in a heartbeat so warmth and shelter is important. Been looking to update to a BA sleeping duo and this + a Lost Ranger w/ a S2S liner will probably be it. Would kinda like to try one of their Copper Spur UL1 tents, too, but I'm nervous about them handling the high winds we can run into (40kts.+).

@deepcreek101 I use the Lost Ranger and it works great. I have broad shoulders so Big Agness is the way to go for me. I can sleep on a rock ledge like a baby with this mattress. I absolutely love it. I don't know much about the Big Agnes Tents. I use an REI $99 tent if I use one at all. Usually I just throw up a tarp or sleep on the open ground. Thanks for the comment.

Do you use the dog as a pillow?

@TS50ER lol.... that's my wife's little rat dog... he wouldn't last 5 seconds on the sidewalk outside of our residence, let alone the woods.
