CAN-DO is a 501C3 Organization that is working on the ground on the CROW CREEK Indian Reservation in S. Dakota and what you witness in this video is happening every month and doesn't even do justice to the suffering that is tearing apart these reservations and destroying this amazing culture right here in our own back yard! I noticed that I may have sounded a bit prejudice in my post however my children are native and my husband is an enrolled member in the tribe. I am also a Native American so I am not being prejudice just trying to be painfully honest!

I have been trying to find a way of putting my thoughts into a 500 character box so I will keep it short. I live here and the one thing I know you have to be willing to help yourself if you want help from others. This video shows babies crying and how the big mean electric guys are taking out the meters. It doesn't show how the people aren't very willing to work and stand around with their hand out waiting for welfare because the government "OWES" them. The Indians are their own worst enemy

I kind of feel bad for the Native American people, they were stripped of there lands and many of them killed. Though, a lot of them (Well,in atleast the western states) get a lot of money from tourisim, but I guess in South Dakota its not really much to see. Blacks and Native Americans are a lot alike, as a African American I feel there pain, we were beaten and killed and stripped from are homelands. Its a difference between not paying your bill and not having enough money to.

They should have introduced images of the res first before the guy started talking. The res pays one of the highest electricity rates and still can't get electricity. Third world smack in the middle of the richest country. They're getting ripped off. They keep increasing the price and cutting off the elctricity
