RA3 Beta (Replay #1) - Japan VS Allies

In this video I recorded of one of my online matches, I play as the Empire of the Rising Sun (Japan) and take on the Allies.

As you'll notice, Japan's buildings are not placed down from the Construction Yard, but are rather deployed by 'worker'-like units, meaning that you can place them anywhere you can move the units to.

In this match-up, I choose to go for two refineries immediately after my power plant so that I can get as much cash as possible. I then completely by-pass the Dojo/Barrack and instead go for a War Factory.

Some key moments in this match are:
- Harvester harassment and destruction early on
- Coast line domination & Construction Yard destruction via my submarines (my opponent was obviously new to the game, as he didn't even undeploy his Construction Yard into a MCV)
- Quick expansion & control of the entire map (coast line domination means that the sea is entirely off limits to my opponent)

@bh180harris I bought Generals when it was very first released in 2003 and probably put more hours into it than any other real-time strategy game I've ever played (and that's saying a lot considering how much I played Warcraft 2, Starcraft, Warcraft 3, Empire Earth, and others). To say that I'm excited about Generals 2 is an understatement!

LOL ever seen such noobs ? -.- guess i gotta tell you how to play this map : after u got 1 energy core go 2x dojo -> place the dojos right next to the oil-well derricks so u can get them both (the first dojo to "your enemys" drill derrick) so actually after you got an engy out of the first dojo and got the drill you cann sell this dojo and in your 2nd dojo you should spam inf and at your base mecha tengus - with an distraction by your inf you should easily rape his collectors -> that should b gg

@DONTcareABOUTu16 It was the beta, moron.  I had not yet learned everything about the game and was simply enjoying playing with the knowledge I had at that time.

@Chubzdoomer first at all i gotta say i KNOW that it was BETA (c upload date of vid / bottom left of display screen) next is its not about the beta that you are so extremly slow - next thing is (1:23) "LOW POWER" 2.nd imba fail.... (these were fails which dont have to do anything with the version of the game) anyways if u upload a vid call it atleast sth like RA3 pub (((noob))) game - i expected to see a nice game but why u upload SUCH a replay ....btw wasnt about to insult u if u understood so

@DONTcareABOUTu16 Yes, the beta IS the reason I was slow. I wasn't super sure of what I was doing, because this was just the 3rd or 4th time I'd played the game and wanted to show some basic gameplay. If you're so fucking good, upload some replays of yourself (or any content for that matter, because your channel has none) and quit yer bitchin'.
