How to Snipe in Black Ops

In this video I show how sniping should be done by 99% of the sniping population in Black Ops. Maybe 1 out of 100 snipers have the ability to quickscope in this game with any regular success. If you snipe like this, you get the joy of a sniper kill while not handicapping your team.

I'm personally a sniper fanboy, and it was my preferred setup in MW2 and CoD4; I haven't played it very much in Black Ops because I've been under the impression that most maps aren't very conducive to the sniping metagame. Anyway, just wanted to say great vid, it's nice to know that there are fellow shooters out there that know how to play the defensive sniper role properly.

When it comes to sniper balancing, Treyarch is alot better than IW

Black Ops was my favorite COD till they brought back the quick scoping because some bunch of kids wanted to use their sniper rifles as long range shotguns again.

Its a shame, MW2 was ruined by the sniping community for me

Quickscoping is overpowered, if a sniper rifle can beat a smg close range and still not be overpowered, why is a smg that beats sniper rifles at long range overpowered?
