"lions are fighters jaguars are hunters like a tiger"

This is a common myth. Tigers fight to the death with other tigers and male lions in pride sometimes do assist lionesses in buffalo and giraffe hunts, rogue lions hunt alone and often. Tigers also fought against bears, dholes and wolves for competition. The only animals the lions really have to fight other than themselves are spotted hyenas, only spotted hyenas have the guts to challenge lion prides, but it was more of a gang fight...

leopards avoid lions because lions live in pride (provoking one means involving the others) and fighting a much larger opponent is unnecessary unless cornered...

Lions are not as muscular as jaguars and jaguars do have anatomical advantage, but this doesn't necessarily mean that jaguars are more superior because of many other factors such as the mane, fighting experience, level of aggression, level of intelligence and the actual mass of both animals.

well, a male lion's sole purpose is not to fight, they do hunt, especially rogue lions...

There is too much BS being promoted about lions. Supposedly they fight to the death everytime and are some vicious fighting machines. This is total crap. Most of the time lions will growl and roar and one side usually runs away. Sometimes a few swipes are thrown and then one side runs off. Rarely , do i mean rarely do lions fight to the death.
Lions are hyped up too much by fairytales about royalty, bravery etc etc. They are nothing of the sort.

The Jaguar are the heaviest cats in terms of body size and have the strongest bite force of all cats...They can weigh up to 150kg(320lbs). So yes it a worthy opponent to the male lion but im pretty sure it cant kill a full grown male lion

And for all of you idiots who say that Tigers dosnt get much fighting and are only hunting
Your pretty damn wrong, Tiger fight to death with other tigers a lot, 30% of tiger deaths (Bengal's) occur due to territorial fights. Bears, leopards they fight them all
