I have had copies of Valencia by Jesse Crawford since 1957, and I have loved it the whole time. This is an excellent copy of it. Thanks for the beautiful work.

Crawford was an amazing organist. I would have loved to have heard him in live performances (with his wife, Helen) at the NY Paramount.

This is very early big band, the type of professional sweet sound carried through the forties by the likes of Guy Lombardo, but at that time----the EARLIER definition of what you'd call jazz.BTW that date is the 17th birthday of the anti-20s bandleader [despite his experience in those], Benny Goodman, and Mel Blanc's 18th birthday.

@JCJasion Don't you just love an organ! I think my interest started with the carousel band organs as a kid. I remember just enjoying sitting on the bench and listening to it. How ya doing by the way?
