What this man does on piano....don't know if I have words for it. He is really in a class of his own. I grew up to this & as time goes by & I lose loved ones. It really hits just how unique this mans talent it.
-
wow this is a really nice version glad someone uploaded it!

@judithhr So true. Nobody gives a piano more emotion than him. I would love to hear a Bruce Hornsby instrumental album. Bliss!
-
He's just one of the best . .

This speaks to people who are musicians or those rare individuals that are not and still have the understanding of what music really is. Keep in mind he is playing really complex piano lines and singing at the same time. If you think this sucks then you have no real concept of the difficulty of what he is doing. What Bruce can do is simply amazing and far beyond the grasp of average Joe

@mckeown101051 I know he "co-wrote" the song, you fucking idiot. Henley took a weak melody and made it come alive with brilliant lyrics and vocals. And Bert Convy's rotting corpse has more talent than you have in your entire fat body.
-
@mightydyckerson He co-wrote the song and played piano on original. He can sing whatever he wants. Has-been ask henley if he is a hasbeen. This coming from someone who has videos of Bert Convey, game show dork and worst lounge singer on earth. In your video was he on his way to open for a puppet show.Maybe he could sing the song,oh he can't he is dead.

@mightydyckerson Hornsby sucks? You suck. This is awesome.
-

When I was taking piano lessons, people wanted to know if I was going to learn to play like Bruce Hornsby....not Elton John, not Billy Joel....but Bruce. Bruce has the most distinctive piano style in rock, bar none. He is truly underrated.
