Rispettare e onorare
IL TEMPO SACRO DELLA GRAVIDANZA,
DEL PARTO E DELLA NASCITA

Consiglio la lettura delle sue opere,
in particolar modo:
- "PER UNA NASCITA SENZA VIOLENZA"
e
- "NATIVITA'"
(in Italia questo testo è fuori edizione purtroppo da tanto tempo ma è comunque reperibile attraverso il servizio di interprestito delle Biblioteche Pubbliche).

Esprimo
tutta la mia profonda gratitudine
a Frédérick Leboyer,
a questo grande uomo,
umile e coraggioso.

Il suo messaggio
ha aiutato tante donne
(ma anche tanti uomini)
a lasciarsi ancora abitare
dall'alito di Vita
- forte e creativo
(non solo nel senso procreativo) -
della Grande Madre:
Spirito Sacro
spesso dormiente in noi,
e quindi
completamente ignorato,
anche perché
umiliato e calpestato,
oggi, come non mai,
dai paradigmi socio-culturali,
frutto
degli ultimi cinquant'anni.

Auguro a me
e a voi tutte/i
di aprirsi
alla "consapevolezza",
di accettare
la sua Luce
sui nostri più piccoli
gesti quotidiani.
Avremo così
energia
per ri-scoprire
il Senso Sacro della Vita.
Avremo la forza
per vivere
le meraviglie
del "Non Manifestato", del "Non Visibile"
(inteso come "Ciò che Non ha Forma").

So very beautiful. I was honored and blessed to meet with him at Harvard and then be taught by him in an enchanted weekend workshop in Northern Califrnia in the early '70s. I spent the next 20 years remembering his quiet wisdom and that the baby's experience counts in birth. His work brought forth the waterbirth movement. He is love, he is caring. Pay attention!
