Let's Play Amea (4)

Somewhat abrupt ending, at least going by the items; I would expect to have all or most of the item slots filled; looks like most of the slots were placeholders, which should not be in a final game!

Sweet game, could have used more horror, and the difficulty was a bit too erratic shall we say. The ending really did lack certain buildup in terms of gameplay; there wasn't much of a dungeon or anything before the final boss, unless you count the, er, dungeon where the last boss was.

Amea is the only metroidvania style game I can find on Armor. Can anyone help me find more?

@TechUnadept Search "Metroidvania" on Kongregate or other flash sites; that's the name of the sub genre. On Armor Games I know there's the Robot Wants series (robot wants kitty, robot wants ice cream ect) at the least.

If those armors are in the game, they're devilishly well hidden. I only managed to find the first one as well.

@EmperorZ19 Apparently there IS one more armor, I think I missed it in the snow place in the far left when I fell in a pit. but several of the item slots are just empty.

Where did you get the argos spell? i cant win without getting camped like what happened to you. it happens to me all the time and argos seems helpful. did i miss it somewhere?

This boss was supposed to be easier. If you run back to where the second dungeon was (at the far left) you will find it blocked by snow and with it a new chest containing the lvl 2 armor. And if you go back to where the boat was that took you to Olwen to begin with (at the far right) you will find the lvl 4 cape

I love how the last scene is basically a game of lets see how many references to his other games he could throw in coherently. "Not really up for being TRAPPED again" "Up to you if you want to PURSUE this, but if you really wasn't to ESCAPE you're current state" "I see your point, better than being STRANDED with nowhere to go I guess" Along with more direct refferences

that boss battle was a pain in the ass for me but i owned him with spamming attack XD

one of the armors was back at the cave entrance and up attack grabs people

I used the Wuss Tactic to beat the end boss too, so I can't really blame you for resorting to it.
