A remake of the 1986 terror classic. Dave Meyers is directing the new film, which tracks the terrifying cross-country journey of Grace (Sophia Bush) and Jim (Zachary Knighton), two college students who are tormented by the mysterious hitchhiker John Ryder, a.k.a. The Hitcher (Sean Bean).

@nkid29 People like myself hate hard on remakes because they are often time & money-wasted on re-working a Classic; a title given for its originality, a status deeming an unnecessary revamp.
A simple anecdote, but continuously overlooked by Hollywood, rendering the entire definition irrelevant because the talentless unoriginal's can't write-up for shit.
