I have a friend who is a State Fair employee and is constantly amazed at what you might find in the dumpster at Cal Expo.....those "tapes" were 16mm film with no audio track and it is the only copy that exisits. Indian Days is all it says on the box and on the reel: Indian Days, Cal Expo. I think it is just magnificient and am proud to have rescued this piece of history. I mentioned that there was no sound and there wasnt, so I added the audio track for your viewing pleasure. You can hear the needle drop on this super rare 33 1/3 LP. I recorded into the computer and took the liberty of matching with the vid. However my American Indian is a little rusty so I hope I didnt doom myself with a match of a song of sorrow or sadness with these fabulously colorful and vivid Indian childrens' faces.
