@NaughtyByNaturet All woodworking and manufacturing is done in imperial (at least that's what all machines measure in). Besides, 1/4" is a lot easier to remember than 6 mm.
What size straight bits did you use? how much did you over cut the first cut on the second cut for the lid. It looks like it's a 1/2" bit and you overlaped about 1/4"
