Breakdown is a short film I wrote and produced in September, 2006. It was directed by Stephen Ballast and stars Steve Rosswick and Paris Simpson. It's the story of John, a young 20-something, who is on his way to propose to his girlfriend Amy who is about to leave for a summer trip to Europe. His trip from Charlotte takes him on a journey through some deserted mountain roads. Along the way his truck breaks down and his cell phone battery dies, leaving him stranded along the side of the road.
