Samsung runs with a better GPU, whereas HTC runs with a better CPU. Therefore, for 3D Gaming, I would have gone for galaxy s, but everything else is just better on the desire hd. Go with the desire hd. You will be much better off

Running side by side with my girlfriends htc sensation the old desire hd doesn't feel much slower. I got official 2.3.5 and 3.0 sense..

Everyone think desire hd is slower than it is.. It way faster than most other phones with single core 1ghz cpu.. It beat my friends iphone4 on gpu bench.. It's the same gpu sony use in xperia play.. And from what I hear the cpu is the same that ipad and iphone4 use.. But iphone4 is underclocked to 800mhz.. Desire hd is not..

i get 3700 with my sgs1 overclocked to 1200.really smouth

I get 2463 on my Galaxy S (rooted, not overclocked)! Much faster, then HTC!
