I live in Rocklin ca. and I have a cdv 700 6B. I can tell you I can't pick up anymore than normal background radiation in the yard and nothing in the food or water. We are safe in Cali.

@107Ryebread But don't forget your using a CDV -700 which only picks up certain energies of beta and gamma and still isn't that sensitive. But I don't doubt that its completely safe, there was unnecessary action taken by individuals as to what happened at Fukushima.
