@DesertFox111111 yep only in case of seriously inapropriate behaviour from the judge. Judges are protected to assure their independance and impartiality.

Well in theory the federal government can. But, such power is very limited, and it has never actually been tried.

So who has the authority to remove a Canadian Justice on the Supreme Court?
No one?
No, the judiciary has three important protections; tenure, salary, and what is known institutional resources.

If the Prime Minister can install a justice on the bench of the Supreme Court.
Does the Prime Minister have the power to remove a Chief Justice as well?

he actually asked her if they take special care with regard to those cases that will be studied...
Every SCC case is studied. Every single one.
