Shadow Ryders finally downed Cho'Gall!
http://adf.ly/1OOQQ - Check out the guilds home page, changed the adverticement to banner due to complaints.
Logs from the kill: http://adf.ly/1OPLJ

Tactics for Cho'Gall Heroic 10man is quite simular to 10man normal. First phase you will have the tank that starts off the encounter tank the Currupting Adherents (which I will refer to as adds) Cho'Gall spawns every 1.5min (after reaching 85%), and use Fury, which apply 2 stacking debuffs to the tank. The fire debuff increase physical damage taken by 20%, while the shadow debuff increases shadow damage taken by 20%. As a Death Knight, you can simply use Anti-Magic Shell to avoid the shadow debuff, but the fire one will still apply, same goes for paladin whom uses bouble will only be able to remove the shadow debuff.
After Cho'gall casts Fury, have the second tank taunt the boss and get ready to taunt the add. Keep it in position untill it reaches 30-50% then move it to the back of the portal (if you are placing them as we do). The adds uses an AoE ability called Depravity, that does a moderate ammount of damage and raises everyones corruption by 10, every 12seconds, so having a tank interrupt this should be enough, but we used an elemental shaman as it proved to be tricky to solo interrupt every time.
As these adds die they will leave behind a pool of gue, which will release small blob adds called Blood of the Old God. These adds rapidly increases your corruption if in melee range of you, so use a slowing effect and make sure they die before they have the chance to reach the raid!
And of course there's the occational Crash, that the add will cast 3-6 times depending on how fast he is downed. I don't know the CD on this ability, but he seem to cast it around the time where he does Depravity.
Cho'Gall will cast a spell called Worship every 40 seconds. This ability randomly targets 2 players and makes them channel Worship, leaving them unable to move or use abilities. As of patch 4.1 this can be interrupted with stun, fear, interrupt and push back, so if possible keep close to minimize the loss of control.
On heroic Cho'Gall will spawn fire and shadow elementals, one at a time. These elementals have 10 buffs for each 10% of hp they have. Cho'Gall consumes those adds after about 15 seconds, giving him a 5% damage increase for each stack the elemental has. 4 or more requires a 50% damage reduction CD to survive. Have 1-3 dedicated dpses on these elementals, as they need to go below 20% hp before being consumed. We had a warlock and an elemental shaman on them, but a boomkin with a 4piece set bonus would be able to solo these.
I must add here that this encounter is quite the dps race! so if you by any chance are using a druid tank, make sure they change into cat form when not tanking to increase the groups damage. Another way to gain increased damage on this encounter is to have a caster reach 100corruption and evolve. We used a fire mage for this, as the debuff you recieve from having 100 corruption makes all your spell casts instant. However! you cannot receive heals, and you don't regen mana. And more importantly you will puke on the group, and grow a tentacle on your back that will cast shadow bolts on friendly targets, so the evolved player needs to stay at range from the group. If the evolved player is a mage make sure to use mana shield all the time, and use ice block to avoid the damage from Conversion. (having a disc priest on this player is really helpful as he/she will be doing around 30% of the whole groups total damage). Even though this is an insane increase of damage, the evolved player will most likely die during the phase, or die from the phase change (it is not possible to survive the phase change for an evolved player).
We figured that we could proceed to second phase when the fourth add spawned, but it was easier to let it spawn, kill it then change phase.

The only way second phase differs from normal is by the spawning of a giant tentacle that deals a massive amount of damage to nearby targets, so try to "kite" Cho'Gall away from these, but not too far away as there will be quite a few of them. As of 4.1 phase 2 is really faceroll, and not challenging at all. If you reach last phase with 1-3 deaths that does not include the tanks then you will still be able to down him.
