  • Latter Day Saints (Mormons) competing with Catholics? I am sorry, but that is just way to funny!! Where did you ever get that silly idea?

The LDS Church has a very postive relationship with the Catholic Church. I good friend of mine who is one of the General Authorities of the LDS Church has told me of meetings between our Church and Cardinals of the Catholic Church. We are all on the same page, working to help all of our Heavenly Father's children. There is no room for any sort of competition

  • Its amazing how many people hate the Mormons. Those Mormons must be doing the right thing.

  • oh wow....the followers of the Brigham Young, who wrote to "kill those who mix with the descendants of Cain (black people)" ARE IN HAITI??? my goodness...PLEASE leave the haitians alone with your covert nefarious plots and go look at rocks in hats in the middle of the desert.

  • @womaninshoe Would to God that there were more Christians like you around, then our Lord's High Priestly prayer recorded the Gospel according to St. John, chapter 17 will be answered soon! Saint Paul tells us that no one proclaims Christ as Lord, except by the indwelling of the Holy Ghost. Mormons proclaim Jesus Christ as their Lord. The last recorded words out of their Prophet's mouth as he was shot by Protestants, were: "O Lord my God". The promise in John 3:16 applies to them also!!

  • yea tats how mormons talk

  • Viñas is the president of the Caribbean Area headquartered in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic

  • Absolutly, woman. The relationship between the two is tightening, especially since Prop. 8 which is why the Vatican approved a LDS temple in ROME!!!!

  • Wow, mister Slave, if that's how you feel I feel very sorry for you, and please don't bother commenting. On one hand we have a group of people who care more about serving other people than they care about their own lives and agendas, on the other hand we have people like you, moronic, immature, self-cenetered jerks who wouldn't lift a pinky to help someone in need. Leave your negative comments to yourself because Nobody appreciates them. Thanks bud.

  • u ppl out there that talk smack about us mormons.....we dont care wat u think. we know that we are doin the right thing and that we have standards we live up to...we are not forced to live by it...its our choice..and ppl we r not trying to compete here...THERES NO COMPETITION..okay.GET IT INTO UR THICK BRAINS...HAITI was in need of help and our church offered them help. u can hate us all u like, WE WONT CARE COZ WE KNOW WE DOIN THE RITE THING....

  • Wow! So much good going on! So many people trying to help those in need. And somehow, someone finds a way to find something negative from it all? Dirtyblonde, you must be a very unhappy person! In all the areas of help, The Red Cross, our children's schools, our church, the Wyclyff Jean foundation, and more organizations, all that I've given to, I have never heard anyone have something negative to say about the others helping! So, so sad! I have Haitian friends. I love them. That;s we help.
