  • @wrestle4life234 actually, the body will become used to this type of squatting if the bounce reflex is trained over time, giving the joints and muscles time to adapt. Of course loading the bar up heavy and trying to bounce out of a squat is dumb, but done properly, it is a legitimate technique (weightlifters ALL use it), and integral to training for explosiveness. All a controlled squat does is increase your slow grinding strength.
