Either all of the other EV explanations I've read or heard are wrong, or you're wrong. One of the two. I think you actually messed up on a couple of your calculations. I don't see why you used 21 as the amount of the pot when it was actually 24 dollars. You get completely different numbers when you use 24 instead of 21. And what is the point of using the 1000 standard? In the end, you divide by 1000 to get the actual value, so there's no point in it right?

where does the $21 come from in the 303 x $21?

Im confused, where do you the get number 303 from when you say you will win the hand 303 times out of a thousand hands and 697 you will lose?
does this apply to every poker hand and situation thats the percentage is basicly 30-70%?

@MrPemtot The pot is $24. Even though it still shows $18, you just have to add in the bet of $6 the player made.
