Here's a version of Sting's "Why Should I Cry for You", on the harp with me singing. If my voice sounds hoarse, I have a bit of a cold. I used to hear this song and feel bad for the person that Sting doesn't want to cry for. Now I think I know what he meant a bit better. It's more about the regret and sadness you feel when someone's gone from your life and you wish things could have been different.

  • Beautifull, congrats... and this piece of Sting is just... amazing beauty....

  • @alketterer Thanks very much!

  • The two instruments I play best is Piano since I was 4 & Harp when I was @ 17. When I found out the strings had a middle C & went up & down like octaves on a piano, I sat down & played "The Rose". I made a couple of mistakes, slight, but I got right into it :-)

    Awesome!

    Taker Easy & Peace!

P.S. (Thanks to sevender as well:-))

  • You know people often think the harp is hard to play, but it is no harder than the piano. Once you realize this, it is fun to pick out notes, and almost anything sounds lovely on a harp. Thank you for your kind comments.

  • Thank you so much for your kind words and for forwarding this to your friends, Sevenender. Because of this, I think I will learn another Sting song! I've played the beginning of "I Was Brought to My Senses", but need to work out the rest of it now. :)
