This is a tutorial demonstrating how-to inject null hexadecimal values into a file to dramatically and precisely increase the size of the file while still retaining functionality.

  • On other hand supose the following. Imagine that I use null bytes to count some kind of occurence, for example number of stones around me. This means that if I write 3 null bytes that mean that exists 3 stones near me. With this in mind to represent "n" stones i write "n" null bytes. In this case the bytes have meaning and, therefore, a kind of functionality. So, in this particular case, having a number "n" of null bytes or none null bytes is different. We must be carefull with our words. :D

  • @balhoto Clever analogy. I completely understand where you are coming from Balhoto but the thing is the argument can go two ways regardless. While many way interpret the statement one way, others may interpret a different way, while others could care less of the precise interpretation. No matter how I name the video, there will always be someone that could argue the validity of the terminology used. My videos are more geared towards assisting novice-intermediate users - Hence the title.

  • @mushroomHEADBANGERS This is something that can debated endlessly and I have page long debates on choice of terms used on my Facebook, some other videos, and other content (Not just those posted by myself) and found that it's a pointless debate to have - Especially when you have two individuals from different IT fields (IE: Network Engineer vs Computer Programmer). For things like this, I think it's best to just analyze the content of the video rather than the title. Agree to disagree :)

  • working?

  • Help me, i've downloaded a video file, avi, but it's like 700mb and it says u need to download a video player to play the encoding, i know it's a scam but can i decode it to play movie or is it a fake movie file and they did what u did to make oit appear larger? but how that makes me actually have to download that much!

  • thanks sooooooooooooooooooooo much bro

  • Maybe for you is just a fact of preference. I respect that. But for many others it's not. It's a fact of accuracy and precision in words. Many of us believe that the statement "faking file size" means the hability to report a file size that's not the real one. With this in mind if the file size is, actually, the real size that is not faking. If for you is the same thing ok I respect that. But you must believe that for some people this is really relevant.

  • @balhoto I'm sorry, I can't create a title that pleases everyone - especially those that over-evaluate terminology until the point where it's more so just a personal preference than fact or relevance. In either case, I'm glad you liked the video :P
