@RequiemNova u mean Sean Bean, not Sean Penn

This is an awesome scene. Lovely poem, made even lovelier by Sean reciting it :) Thanks for this!

@MrOwen2012 To be honest it sorta fits in the film, it's quite early on in the film but far enough in that you have an understanding of the events going on. A much underrated film I personally think and definitely worth watching.

sad scene :(

Wrong Music for it. I've never seen the film nor do i have a vague understanding but just wrong music. I don't know if Sean bean was a villain in it but for god sake it's Sean bean. he needs better music to die to

@tiago1138 I find it more in tune with Fahrenheit 451 myself.

Sorry but I have to ask: What movie is this scene from?
-
movie very similar to george orwell´s 1984 :)

This is one of the best films ever made. This scene has a very convincing scene.

But I, being poor, have only my dreams. I have spread my dreams under your feet; tread softly, because you tread on my dreams
I got that tattooed on my arm a few years after seeing this movie. the words never left my head

I love that he hesitates
Sean quotes it incorrectly,
It's not "under your feet" it's "beneath your feet"\
