Slalom is one of Carter Pann's best known pieces for the modern wind ensemble. Intricately layered with many themes, the composer has created a work to capture the thrill of downhill skiing. A challenging piece in the extreme, "Slalom" fully displays the capabilities of the performing group. Performed and premiered by the University of Kansas Wind Ensemble.
