Ghost Stories is neo-surreal found footage journey into the twilight zone. It combines fragments of contemporary Asian horror movies in pre-war expressionism a la Murnau, Bunuel, and Fritz Lang,
The focus is on unconscious and the Other. The early surrealists were not only primitivist, but also fetishists. They embraced fetishism for its disruptive potential. This piece was shown by Maciej Toporowicz at the exhibition "With Shuddering Horror Pale" at the Artspace in New Haven in 2006.
