  • Wtf guys, of course it's not as good as when Johnny did it, it was his song and the guy was unique, with a very original voice. Still it's a nice tribute and the new album by the Dolls is pretty good, so LONG LIVE THE DOLLS!

  • I totally agree. If they really want to tribute Johnny why not play the whole song instead of this little snip? And on top of it all Syl doesn't even bother to learn the correct lyrics.

  • It may not be as good as when Johnny did it, but still, I think it's great that they're putting it on their setlist for Johnny. :)

  • This is much better when you see and hear it live. Now it doesn`t sound too good but in july when i saw The Dolls, every song they played was great including this one.

  • I know I should never write or speak negatively about the Dolls, it is the ultimate sin, but when I saw Johhny for the last time in '89, he was not with Syl...I don't even know if they still spoke to each other? I love this song when Johnny sang it. Period. I am glad that Syl and David are doing music together again, tho. Cheers

  • This is a heartfelt tribute by Sylvain... a man who stood by his friend Johnny till the end. And the Planet Boy medley is brilliant.

  • When Johnny did it, it brought a tear to my eyes...this just makes me cry!

  • I personally think the verses he sings of Memory sound absolutley terrible, why change such a good thing? John's arrangement was pretty much the only one to work for HIS song...Syl, John would be some pissed at you if he were around today. OF course if John were alive he'd be singing this wouldn't he? Hmm welllll I am rambling...
