I told my landlord about water dripping from the ceiling in my kitchen, which was coming from my roof. After a couple of days I went up to the roof by the emergency stair ways and found out the INGENIUS(cheapest and quickest) of their solution. I wonder what else do they use for repairs: glue sticks and tape? This is downtown Montreal, Canada.

  • Did it stop the leak?..

  • @Blankmania Surprisely it worked. But I was subletting only for 4 months so I don't know what happened after. I passed by the bulding last week, and there were people working on the roof. So it only took the landlord 2+ years before letting the professionals fix it.

  • what are those bags?

  • They're to hold down the plastic tarp when it gets windy. Its probably filled with sand or dirt.

  • Nightmare fix job. Sleep tight.

  • You gotta get a big can of 'Flex Seal'? It's new. Ya, you would need a pretty BIG can. No offence.

  • moe and joe roof repair,,, tree fity an hours

  • Holy cow it’s an old TPO system LOL. We call single ply "Tarp Systems". Think about it, a manufactured plastic tarp that is mechanically fastened and heat welded at the seams.

  • bags of shit like the slum landlords who put them there
