I'd assume having a flashlight as bright as that on the end of a rifle would potentially be blinding for the operator. You don't get much reflection coming off of the rifle and back in your eyes?

@neanderthor66 There is not really any noticable reflection. The bright light does blind an adversary. Law Enforcement and Military units have used this style lighting for years so it has it's merits. Thanks~

sootch...did you get the tail switch to work on this flashlight? i got the same flashlight and purchased the tail switch but it does not work

From what I've read, the scalloped bezels were originally for hand-free use--you set them down lens first on a table or whatever, and the light coming through the scalloped openings can then be used. Using it for self-defense would be a secondary feature.
