Every sexual encounter does not need to produce an offspring; we are not just animals but spiritual creatures who are created to connect physically with others in meaningful ways. Not all Christians are Bigots. Many of us support Gay Rights and Marriage Equality. We know the Bible was written by men. The early part of the Bible was meant to instill inordinate fear among early Hebrew tribes. It was written during a period wherein the true Science of Human Sexuality was nonexistent. These early Hebrew writers were imaginative and attempting to form a new national identity among scattered Hebrew tribes with fear. Many Christians are dedicated to Equal Rights.

I'm not saying to give away everything... because obviously they need money to do what they do.... but to be overly rich when people are hungry... give it away... You should have enough money to live and do your duties. Give the rest away. It's what Jesus wants... he will bless you in the end.

The only problem I have with Joel is his wealth. The scriptures says that a man went to Jesus and said how can he enter the Kingdom of God and Jesus told him to follow the commandments, the man said he follows all of them (Like Joel)BUT Jesus then said to sell everything and give it to the poor. When the man went away unhappy because he was wealthy. Jesus said "It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter to Kingdom of God. Joel is way to rich.

could you be happy and poor then ? she unhesitatingly replies, "absolutely!" Really ? I guess one should define being poor. seeing a man on the street who hasn't had a shower in 3 months, who hasn't had a meal in 3 days, who has been raped and beaten repeatedly and stared at and frightened by 99% of the public , a man with no family or friends, who tries to sleep while freezing in the night, throwing up but has no money in order to seek medical attention..... ask him if he is happy ?
