This is my baby Sun Conure. We got him yesterday, he is twelve weeks old, and he hatched on October 1st. We aren't sure whether it is a girl or boy yet, so he doesn't have a name. These are different clips of him outside his cage exploring. In the first couple of clips, he is just sitting and he is very quiet. By the end, he is flying around, climbing up and down cages, and squawking very loudly! It was actually so loud that the camera could not record the full blast of it. (Sun Conures are very loud birds, be warned!) This is probably the most he has squawked so far being here. I can tell he is becoming more comfortable. Since this little guy is only twelve weeks old, this is not his true coloring. By six months, he should have his first molt. He will become very bright orange and yellow, and most of the green and other darker colors you see here will go away. He is still only a baby! So I really hope you enjoy, and thank you for watching!

  • @Msperroquet if he/she is ever for sale you can always contact me.

  • @AshayLol Thank you! I'll keep that in mind if anything ever comes up, but I have made a commitment to her (I have just figured out it's female, and her name is Kiki) and so I will try my hardest to stay with her for her whole life.

  • i got my 2 baby sun conures at Cindys pet shop in vero,FL.a boy and a girl.they act like they r attached 2 eachother.they cant leave each others side without biting and screeching.

  • Apparently if you blow in it's face when it bites or squeels loudly it will train it and show it it's bad to bite and squeel. They train really quickly and get attatched to their owner, they love company!
