What we need now,,,, is some new rock stars

just to listen to, ,,,,while we trek through the stars

the ones who can play the drums,,,, or pound on the keys

or pick up a guitars,, and put us on our knees,

Let the gangsters do the rapping, while they try not to sing

I'd love to see an idol,,,, do that Chuck Berry thing

rednecks tell their stories,,,,, about trucks and fast cars

but the one thing their all missing,,,,, is the screaming guitars

Who won't play Hip Hop,

or in Hillbilly bars
