I have to admit. I was a bit skeptical trying this until I actually tasted the butter with a couple of pinches of salt. WOW! We bake our own bread and now can make butter very easily just by following what you have shown in this video. :)

The more fat in the cream = more color and taste to the butter, less calories also. I never tried to make it out of really low fat cream but I figure that would be a job for a processor , blender, etc as would take a while, ;)

Absolutely you can use for baking, it just won't keep for more than a week even if you wash the butter several times with ice cold water to remove all the buttermilk, the quick way he did this the butter will only keep a day at best. otherwise make and use away..
