@sammyboi11890 They were cyborgs who could take on human form to track or deceive the Rangers. Their power source originally came from Dark Spector's life energy, and then from Deviot once they were revived.

@yellowocean155 Think of it like this- the sparks are a representation of the force and energy used against them discharging. Instead of blood from the inside, it's an "energy spark" from the force of impact, which can transpire anywhere on the body since it surges with energy.

@MegaManman12345 DragonRanger's lifeforce was being drained away in Zyuranger, which explains why the Green Ranger gradually seemed less powerful in PR, and footage of the white ranger in Dino Thunder getting his ass handed to him was purely American footage. AbareKiller from Abaranger was always kicking ass.
