In a recent series between two WCHA teams, there was inconsistency in making calls with similar infractions, actually the more obvious penalty was not called. Does it come down to the officials reffing to influence the outcome of the game?
The first clip in the video is during the Friday night game with just under 1 min remaining in OT. No Penalty called.
The 2nd situation was called a penalty with just under 4 minutes remaining in regulation in a game where the Sioux were up 1 goal.
Is there any avenue that UND fans won't use to complain about the officiating?

I felt last night against tech there were at least 2 obvious calls for the Sioux that weren't made. Good thing we won.

we played well both games we were good on defense and were getting pucks on net and creating oppertunites. if the referring was fair then the outcomes of the games may have been different

The WCHA has some of the worse referring in college hockey. It starts with the nincompoop Sheperd who is in charge of it. Hell, the only reason his idiot son is a ref is because Daddy is in charge of it!

Well- we were out three players on Saturday, so that had to have an impact. I would rather play poorly in that series and save the effort for the WCHA Final Five Series

Ya, that was pretty brutal. Though I also think it was the loudest i've heard the ralph in a long long time :)
To be honest, we didn't deserve a win either game anyway, we played poorly. I was very disappointed to end the season that way.

I'm a Husky fan, both should have been called, but that's how Anderson is. He decides what is and what isn't a penalty, not by the rules, but by what the brain cells that are firing at the time decide.

I would blame for not calling something so blatant rather than crying out inconsistent. I was probably the only person at the Ralph who wasn't booing Friday night.

Even my blind mother would have made that call. I was at the game and I nearly threw up.
