Just beautiful

2:15 --> Heroic climax. Ennio Morricone is without doubt one of the most moving score composers ever!!!
-
A magnificent and enchanting melody by one of the world's greatest composers and musicians that is performed impeccably by a most exquisite violinist. All hail to the marvelous BBC orchestra and to the enduring wonder of the best of man's achievements--music. Thank you from Egypt.
-
Brava Chloe un grazie dall'Italia per la tua bellissima e ottima performance
-
That is just *sumptuous*, interestingly Ennio orchestrates all his own music (not using a professional orchestrator), so he both creates the wireframe of the melody, then fleshes it out with the orchestrations.

Chloe Hanslip's solo is a perfecto. It makes you feel this theme right in the deep emotions of the heart. Bravo!

As mentioned at the end, the violinist is 22-year old Chloe Hanslip. She plays a well-insured 1737 Guarneri del Gesu. She writes a blog on her website telling what she's doing. She recorded her first CD with the London Symphony Orchestra when she was 13 (shades of the incredible Anne Sophie-Mutter performing the Brahms concerto at that same age with the legendary Herbert von Karajan and the Berlin Philharmonic!)

This is just one of Ennio's masterpiece. Thank you for this moment.

An incredible performance. Ennio will approve, and then some.
When I saw this for the first time ever at this years Proms I got all emotional ! Thank you for posting as I had recorded it then deleted by mistake.
