ooo,, sorry,, bad idea girl.. Never use olive oil for high heat searing.. Duuh,, any body that cooks worth a hoot knows that..Olive oil has very low smoking point, too much heat and it breaks down and gives off that nasty burnt oil smell and taste. Nasty!
