@jnast09 I'm a gay Purdue student studying computer engineering. It's easy to feel like gay people are under-represented in STEM fields, but know that we're definitely here. If you ever need someone to talk to, definitely send me a message!

This video is beautiful... it made me cry. I'm not one for crying but I think it you brought back memories I'd suppressed. Well done. So lovely too see and hear these beautiful people's experiences.

@jnast09 Once you get through high school you can go out and meet other gay people. They don't have to be in the same industry as you. People were beaten at my school for being gay. They luckily couldn't tell I was so I put my head down and work hard at my studies in the hope that one day it would get better and it did. All you need do is get through it.

First of all. I love this video. Very well done.
I've been out for a long while and it's more than amazing seeing people having a voice.
Second of all, I want this Colleens number. She's beautiful :]

@jnast09 there are accepting places and people in the technical fields. for example, the first person I ever came out to was a computer science major, and my best friend right now is a materials engineer. please trust me, it does get better and even in the math and science fields you can find love and acceptance

Awesome job on the video.

Thank you all!
What about those of us that aren't involved in theater? What about those of us that are in the sciences? math? We're eve more of a minority there and there aren't these great accepting places like there are in the arts. :/

@jnast09 Drake64 has is right. Just keep your head up and move forward. There are loving and accepting people everywhere. You don't have to be in theatre to find someone to accept the person you are. Just know that in your community the theatre is where you will be able to find someone who WILL listen. Be strong. It gets better.
