Atomic Ohm Bell - Redirected

Using some delays and arpeggios in the Virus really helps to get away from the strict grid. Unfortunately, muting sounds or trying to make an elegant stop isn't all that easy with the Tenori On. All sounds are from the Virus Snow.

Excuse the quality. This was recorded with my Macbook Pro's iSight and audio input so the video quality is bad and there is a buzz in the audio. Beyond the buzz, the audio sounds pretty ok.

  • LOLER BANNANAS AWESOME

  • :D x 2

  • Ok, this is downright cool.

Almost two years later, still trying to find a tenori-on in Canada for anything like a fair price, never mind a snow. Maybe someday when they're considered antiques... :P

  • Thanks for the kind words! You know you can buy a Tenori On directly from Yamaha for $999 USD? They also pop up on ebay weekly for less than new.

  • Really great, but I have no clue how that ternori-on works. I think its too strange for me, but I definitively buy me a virus snow.

  • The Tenori On is actually really simple to use. That was the intention of the inventor: for anyone to be able to pick up and play it. In some ways it is limited but also is a great tool for immediate and fun interface with other synths (as well as a stand-alone synth in its own right.)

  • nICE vIRUS sNOW :-:---:-:-

  • money.

  • Great sounds I was thinking of getting a snow rack mount. I need a good synth for pad like sounds and atmospheres. Digital just isn't the same.

  • Don't apologize, sounds pretty good! ;-)

I guess the TI Snow is the only instrument with enough white LEDs to match the Tenori on at this point... sonic wise it seems a nice pairing too.
