I am sad to say that as I am/was still new to martial arts, and was worried about my own safety, I did not try to find him and chase him down. We still do not know if her purse has been recovered (I'll ask my instructor tomorrow), and we are still worried about her safety, as it is a less than desirable neighborhood and he knows her address now. But this is the situation where Parkour would be applicable, not too show off, but out of a need to catch a thief. Take what you will from that story.

Minutes later both groups returned with no results, they went far and wide, and tried their hardest to find him, but he already slipped away. We all spoke with and advised the woman on what to do, the consensus was that the police would not be of much help, sadly. We all asked if she will be all right, or is all right, and our instructor gave the woman her phone number and told her to call if she needed anything.

Moments later a woman came up asking if a man had come by recently, and stated that he took her purse. Splitting into three groups, our instructor, two senior students, and the remaining three of us. Our (female) instructor took off alone in one direction, and the two senior students (older & larger males) in another. The remaining three of us stayed behind (I would have loved to help, but I didn't push it, as I new my place/role at that moment in time.)

"It can be the art of flight, of the chase, of helping someone with a problem, something ordinary."
This will take a couple of posts but please read it!:
I train in martial arts out in a field at a local school, awhile back someone stole a woman's purse and just walked past us non-nonchalantly, when he went past us we all (students & instructors) knew something was up, but none of us new why, each of us got a piece (sense) of what happened but could not figure out why or what.

"you already knew."
i agree to everything he said.I know parkour is really dangerous, but everything he said is wise. "If we have two arms and two legs, its for climbing to go to see whats going on.-Dont stay inside, life continues out there."
Best advises,i'll keep them.
Thumbs Up if you agree to everything he said too.
